The Eden Hotel is a historical building in Cesare Battisti street, no. 225, situated inside the medieval walls of Padua; the building itself can be considered peculiar, but still simple and comfortable at the same time.

Cesare Battisti street links the hotel to the centre of the city: Palazzo Moroni, the university (Il Bò), Pedrocchi Café, Piazza della Frutta, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Palazzo della Ragione, Scrovegni's Chapel, Saint Anthony's church, and the Botanic Garden. The street was named after a patriot who was hanged by Austrians during WWI; it is a one-way quiet street mostly covered by porches, with historical buildings and small shops at its sides. It is often used by university students, since, close to the hotel, you can find the Anatomy and Statistics university departments.

From 1900 to 1916, Cesare Battisti street was named “Cassa di Risparmio street” since the lending institution was located within it. During the Middle Ages, it was famous mostly because of its many workshops (some of the buildings that hosted them are still there and haven't changed their original structure).
